Global eTelecom announces additions to executive management.
Destin, Florida Global eTelecom, a nationwide provider of electronic payment processing services, announces the addition of new executive management today.
Edward Villarreal, formerly General Manager of Global eTelecom, has been newly appointed Vice President of Financial Administration. The move comes after a corporate restructure of departments at Global eTelecom, precedented by the tremendous growth the company is currently experiencing. Michael Varley, Chief Operations Officer says Ed Villarreals broad experience in finance and risk management made it a logical move for our company. Ed has a tremendous understanding of the electronic payment processing industry, as well as a complete understanding of the requirements to effectively manage our tremendous growth.
Michael J. Smith, has been newly appointed Senior Vice President of Sales & Merchant Services. Michael Smith was formerly Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Global eTelecom. His relatively quick promotion to Senior Vice President comes as a surprise, given his almost 5 month long tenure with Global eTelecom to date. But, adds John H. Beebe Chairman & CEO, We are extremely pleased with Michael Smiths performance to date, and this new promotion better reflects his position to represent our new payment services and emerging technologies to our merchants and partners.
Global eTelecom also announced the addition of Michael English as Senior Developer to its Information & Technology department. Michael English will head up the development team located in Los Angeles, California.
