Global eTelecom Announces Significant Enhancement of it's Payment Processing Capabilities
Destin, Florida Global eTelecom the national leader in Electronic Check Conversion (ECC) announced today that it has significantly increased the corporation's payment processing capabilities with the purchase and installation of the newest generation of IBM servers. Working directly with IBM, the IBM servers and architecture were specifically tailored to maximize the capabilities and efficiency of the corporation's proprietary XML based processing technology.
"We are very pleased with the results from working with IBM to customize a hardware solution for our company. With the new servers and architecture layout design we have increased our current processing capabilities ten fold, and now have almost limitless capacity for expansion," states John H. Beebe, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Global eTelecom. "With our continued sustained growth, we were quickly outgrowing our processing capacities, and our current hardware and servers could not fully maximize the potential and capabilities of our new XML based processing technology. This will enable Global eTelecom's continued growth, and allow us to provide better service and capacity for our Business Partners and Merchant base."
"IBM was very helpful in developing a solution specific to our unique needs," states Joseph D. Korinek, Chief Information Officer. "With fully redundant servers featuring multi-level fault tolerance, as well as storage area network technologies and enhanced management tools, we have significantly enhanced our capability, capacity, and reliability for our customers. With the new hardware, adding capacity is as simple as plugging in new hard drives and servers, and repairing a fault is as simple as unplugging the bad device and plugging in the new device, all without ever having to drop the system."
