John E. Laurell serves as Vice President of Technical Operations for Global eTelecom. His responsibilities include the management of our Technical Support team, as well as the oversight for all of GETI's Research and Development needs.

John is an alumnus from the University of Houston, and brings with him over 13 years experience in the electronic payment processing industry. His background includes Petro-Chemical and Private Label Card experience through Texaco Oil (Associates National Bank); as well as extensive knowledge in bankcard processing, through Delta Card Services (Woodforest National Bank).

John started with Global eTelecom in 2002 as Director of Tech Support. Promoted to Vice President of Technical Operations 2003. John has gained his extensive knowledge of the Check Industry while working with all the check and credit card terminal manufactures to assure that our merchants and business partners have the latest and greatest check conversion programs in the industry. John continues to lead the industry on cutting edge terminal applications and check imaging compatibility.
